Enlow Fork Mine
Congratulations goes out to Consol Energy's Enlow Fork Mine Rescue Team. They managed to successfully repeat as National Champions at the contest held 9/15-9/19/2003 in Louisville, Kentucky. 42 mine rescue teams competed in the event.
Captained by USMRA member, Rod Henry, the Enlow Team consists of George Maxwell, Bob Gross, Shawn Dewitt, Dave Leverknight, and alternates Terry Winland and Bill Whipkey.

Editor's Note: This was no small accomplishment to repeat as the National Champ. Rumor has it that Consol's Bailey and Enlow Fork teams were called away from the contest to respond to a rekindled Loveridge Mine Fire. Any details on this are welcome.
