Chet Harper Dey

January 26, 1956 - October 14, 2009

Mr. Dey, age 53, was born January 26, 1956, in Washington, Pennsylvania, to parents Chester and Nela (Harper) Dey. He passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at his home in Heath surrounded by his wife and children.

Chester was a warehouse manager for Legends Smelting and a member of Moundbuilders Country Club, the Newark Elk and Moose Lodges, and he was an avid golfer.

Chester is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette K. (Jakubek) Dey; sons, Adam (Caree) Dey, of Pataskala, and Brenton Dey, of Heath; mother and stepfather, Nela (Alex) Manning, of Washington, PA; sister, Karen (Frank) Hinnerman, of Bethel Park, PA; mother-in-law, Helen Jakubek, of Strabane, PA; sisters-in-law, Barbara Jakubek, of Strabane, PA, and Teri (Frank) Repanchek, of Lebanon, PA; three nieces, two nephews and his grand dog, Grunt.

Chester was preceded in death by his father, Chester Howard Dey; and father-in-law, Albert Jakubek.
